i) Magnum Global (G) 15,000

Right now, I have a home loan EMI (fixed) of Rs 14,200/- (since 2 years). In addition to this EMI and expenses, I have another Rs.10,000 more to spare for MF investments. I have a time horizon of 3 - 5 years, and I would like to go in for another house.
Could you please let me know whether my current portfolio matches my risk profile. Should I go for a portfolio realignment now that it has completed 2 years?
Also, could you please let me know which funds should I go for SIP for the next 3 years?

| Message: Dear Sir, I resigned from my company in Nov. 06. The company had a Group Hospitalization Policy for family with that of maternity expenses of spouse limited to Rs. 30,000. I had submitted a claim for maternity hospitalisation of my wife of Rs. 7000/- to the company in October 06 before resigning from the company. The insurance company for my company at
that time was New India Assurance. The insurance company was changed in mid-Nov 06 to Avaya. I was assured by the company HR that the Mediclaim had been submitted to New India Assurance and would be processed. There was no correspondence from the company regarding the claim for long time. When I contacted them in December I was told that there was nothing to worry and I would receive information of the claim as and when they got
it. In March when I called the company HR they informed that New India Assurance had refused my claim and many other claims as the insurance company had been changed. On asking them the grounds of refusal they did not provide further information. I do know that the insurance claim cannot be rejected on any grounds. My company is refusing to give me
details of the refusal of the claim by New India Assurance. The carbon copies of the bills and application form submitted to my company is still with me. How can I pursue this issue for settlement of the claim?
Thanking you for your assistance.

Care (Pure Term) and Capital Unit Gain (ULIP). My total outgo in term policy is
Rs.804/-*12*30 (Monthly Rs.804/- prem for 30 yrs) =Rs.289240/- and for ULIP is Rs.284358/- (incl. all charges i.e. Policy admn, Initial Management & Mortality) for 30 yrs (Rs.18000/- p.a prem) for 30 yrs. Can somebody throw light on this?

| Message: I have been offered the position of Principal of a day school. In addition to the salary, I will be provided with a fully furnished house, a car with a driver, three servants and medical cover. The duration of the contract will be for 5 years, renewable. The School’s promoter is a Charitable Trust .The Trust is registered under –M.P. Public Trust Act 1951 U/S -4.
I have been informed that being a Trust registered under U/S 12A of Income Tax Act it is not liable to pay any fringe benefit tax. Is this correct? Would I, as an employee of the school/Trust (?) and recipient of the perks, be absolved also from paying the fringe benefit tax? If not, how could I reduce/eliminate this tax liability?

| Message: Dear sir,
I had applied as second holder for idea Cellular jointly with my wife Uttara Sen for 90 shares. When i did not get neither the allotment nor thr refund , I checked the website of the Registrar of the issue www. bigshareonline.com.
I entered the Application number 71868227 in the option to find out the status of allotment. To my surprise i find the name of the first holder ( my wife ) is wrongly spelt their.
Instead of "Uttara " they have typed "Uttam" and no information on refund.
I checked the application form (the copy ) and find that the application has the correct name. It looks like that the people entering the details in the computer made that silly mistake.
I however find from my bank that the application money was debited to her account on 19th february. My several e mails to the registrar to the issue and to the concerned person of Idea cellular as mentioned in the application form remains unanswered.
Kindly let me know how I recover the application money with penalty for delay for reasons of mistake/error by the registered of the issue.
Best regards,
Satyabrata Sen
