| Message: My name is stanislaus i am working as Physician Assistant in a cardiac center. my salary (professional fee) is 20000 per month (not fixed). 5% TDS is deducted every month.
1.sbi life insurance (term plan) - 3760 per annum
2.elss (sbi) - 10000 per anum
3.elss (icici) - 10000 per anum
4.rent (house rent)- 3500 per month
5.purchased computer (month of aprl 2006) - rs. 30000
6. attended professional conference in the month of feb 2007 – expenses (travelling air 12000 rs.) please help me to calculate my tax and how much should i invest more next year

| Message: Is the service tax payable by the customer? As mutual fund distributor, service tax and education cess is deducted by the mutual fund houses from the brokerage payable to me. As a distributor, I am the service provider, not the reciepient of service. So, why I have to pay the service tax? |
