Message: Comments :Hi, I quit my company in november 2006 and found during final settlement that (pertol & driver wage) bills i submitted were not taken care of. I was told since i had not declared this in FBP declaration the benefits were taxed and paid to me. I submitted the bills few weeks before resignation. Now the payroll says they cannot adjust this since i have already resigned even though i had submitted bills before resigning. Had i not resigned they could have adjusted that. I agree i did not declare FBP but are these things not taken care by companies during final settlement. Please advise. Can i force the company to account for all my bills submitted and redo the final settlement. thanks arun

Message: Hello Sir/ Madam, I am currently residing in the UK but plan to come and settle in India permanently. I am 35 years old and I will come to India with about £100,000. What will be the best way for me to invest this money? I will not be working in India and would want an income from my money so I am looking to invest in MIPs (something that has minimal risk). I wouldn't mind getting my money annually as opposed to monthly. I estimate that my monthly expenses will be about 15000 rupees (1800000 rupees annually). I am also willing to invest some of the £100,000, maybe £20,000 or maybe more, in higher risk options, like Equity MF, for long term investment. I already own a house in India. I have 2 children both under 3 years of age. I would prefer to have the option of being able to repatriate my money back to pounds sterling but if I get better returns for non repatriable option then I will go for that option. I look forward to your reply.
