Message: Comments :I have Jeevan Shree policy without profit and without accidentbenefit and with guaranteed addtion @75/- per 1000/-SA. The SA is Rs.5/-lacs and yly premium is 24375/- and the plan is 112-25-16. Dt ofcommencement is 03-03-2001 and have paid the premia regularly. The latestpremium will be due on 03-03-2007. However I want to discontinue thepolicy. But I cannot decide whether to surrender it or make it paid up orallow it to lapse. Will it be advantageous if I collect the surrendervalue now and invest it in bank @8% or collect the paid up value onmaturity date i.e.03-03-2026? I do not know the rules and how much cash Iwill get in hand and when. Kindly examine the options and guide me. Ishall be grateful for the help.

Also have other LIC endowment policies with annual prem. My wife won house at native and gets rental Rs.6000/- per month. I earn about Rs. 6 Lakhs per annum (Salaried). I have a home loan of Rs.14 Lakhs.I have invested in National Saving Certificates about Rs.30,000 toRs.45,000/- per year for the last 6 years. I have insurance (LIC)- premium of Rs.4676/- per year. Shares for Rs.2 Lakhs. I recently took ULIP policy(Rs.2000/- per Month)- Metlife Accelerator. I still can save about Rs.20,000 per month. Please advise me to have proper plan for investing this amount in proper instruments to earn better returns. Kindly suggest complete investment plan that suits me.
