daughter as minor and my wife as guardian and depositing amount every year
including this year in january 2007.The SBI authorities in the month of
february2007 have refused to take deposit saying that minor accounts in
PPF now are not permitted and as such system is not accepting your credit
and suggested to close the account in minors name and to open in major
name.I am not able to understand how the running PPF accounts in minor

(Exempt-Exempt-Exempt) and EET (Exempt-Exempt-Tax). Which are these
schemes. Also how can one calculate (by some formulae or calculator) the
future value of an investment, (1) if the investment is done regularly,
say once or twice a year , with no definite frequency and amount; and (2)
if the investment is done irregularly, with the frequency and amount of
investment is not fixed.

will I be eligible for the loan related tax exemption??"
Also If not, can I get the rebate if I get the lease right for me frm my
father??
Thanks a lot, --Nitin

I am forwarding my complaint to you.
Do I have a case and whom do I approach apart from the Bank Manager.
Lt Col Anil Paranjape, Retired.
To,
The Manager,
State Bank of India,
Kanchanjanga Apartment
Magarpatta, Hadapsar,
Poona, Maharashtra.
Ref : Pension Account No 01190066159
Dear Sir,
I was awarded Commutation of pension amounting to a value of Rs Eleven
Lakh Ninety Five Thousand, vide Office of the Chief CDA (Pensions)
Allahabad Corrigendum PPO No M / Corr / 006616 / 2006 dated 24 Aug 2006.
The amount has been credited to my account only on 2 Dec 2006.
However my pension was adjusted taking into account the commutation from
the month of September itself. Thus the capitalised value of pension
should have been credited to my account in Sep itself, which has not taken
place causing me a loss of interest on this amount.
You are requested to please credit interest on this amount to my account
for the months of October and November 2006.
With Regards,
Yours truly,
